The Best Advice

A very good friend of mine sent me this video 6 months ago. I watch it every day to help give me strength and comfort. I hope these words will reach deep down into your soul and give you the help that you might need in your life.

That was a beautiful video clip. Thank you for sharing it with us, I needed some of the wise counsel in it. We were very wronged by someone in our stake. I've struggled with it for 2 years now. I've hated this person with a passion, and wasted so much energy on anger; and I've been disappointed with myself for having those feelings. The part of the clip that said if you can't like someone look into their eyes till you can see the spirit child of God in them cut me to the core. This person's life has fallen apart in every way, which led me down the path of struggling with feelings of you reap what you sow. On Sunday I saw this person, looked into a grief stricken face that couldn't even make eye contact with me, and had the beginnings of a change of heart. Just having that little bit of change has helped me this week with my attitude...which is usually bad these days. Watching this clip has just finished working on my heart. I'm going to find that clip and save it on my computer as a frequent reminder.
Thank you.

Well, you have served the Huish family well with this one post. I just walked down memory lane and remembered many times in my life when I did not heed this advice.

Turning a new leaf in my life, and with such great and sweet counsel to help me with it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Once again, I love to learn lessons from my younger friends . . and you are younger than I am, in years, not wisdom!

That was an excellent video, I'm glad you found it. Sometimes it is so hard to forgive others or not to judge them. We do need to remember that EVERYONE is loved by Heavenly Father not just the 'good' people. I love you

Thank you for sharing this video. It is something I needed to hear. I like the mourning booth video also. They are both so good.
